Happiness all around.
I just got out of class 3 hours earlier than normal due to my teacher having his best friend go into labor and he is to be the godfather to the unborn child so he canceled class! I can't express how happy I am to be laying in my makeshift bed right now at home, and not sitting in an uncomfortable stool, in a horribly lit fluorescent room wishing to be out.
Things just have a way of always working out for me, whether I like it or not, things just go accordingly. Though I make freak out and think that nothing good can come of a certain situation/event, it just happens.
Such as the job situation. The job almost literally jumped up and sprang after me and pursued me without me having to do anything! There wasn't even an official interview. I signed the papers that you do once you are hired and she said "So you really enjoy talking to customers and showing them products etc?" I of course responded "I sure do! In fact, I wind up talking to strangers on the street because it's fun to interact with all sorts of unique people". She said "Excellent" and that was it for the 'formal' part of the process.
Quite rad.
Not sure how much I'm making either or if there is a dress code. I probably should know these things seeing as I'm starting tomorrow and will be there 1-9:30pm I get to close with her (the manager with whom I've been in contact with)! She seems to already have so much faith and confidence in me that I can run a store right off the bat. This is such a new and fun experience for me, I can't wait to see where this will take me. :D
