I've adored Jason Schwartzman for years.
I don't know what it is about him, but I've been obsessed. I'm determined to meet him at some point in my life. Preferably randomly on the street so I'm not expecting it, then BAM! There he is, I could die happy.
Anyways all of this to say, I have also loved his music. When he used to be apart of Phantom Planet and came out with the 'California' theme song for the show the OC. He now however started his own band in 2006 titled 'Coconut Records'. I can't remember when I first heard his new project, sometime back in 2007 who knows, maybe March? Regardless of this his music is amazing and I've been listening to his CD at least once a day since it came out.
Jason's brother, Robert Schwartzman (lead singer of Rooney) has now come out with this own solo deal called 'SOLOBOB'. Check them out on myspace, pretty rad and sounds more funk/folk/experimental. Great times :)

Jason and Robert
My main point of this blog tonight however is to expose you to this:
This is Robert lip-synching to his brother Jason's song for Coconut Records entitled "Nighttiming" which is one of my all time favorite tunes from him.
